A downloadable experience for Windows and macOS

This is what I call home.

In this work, I have created the forestry of my childhood home as I perceive it. The piece is built around the concept of distorting an environment to reflect an emotional view of it, allowing viewers to experience it as the artist does.

This piece was intended to be a VR experience. Due to current global disruption, this project is a desktop experience that mirrors what the VR version would look like.

The landscape within consists of features from three main categories: 3D sculpts, 2D images, and digitally generated particle effects.  This compositional combination places the viewer in an environment featuring large hand-drawn elements which mirror pop-up books, accompanied by sculpts that are realistic or fantasized.

The blend of 2D and 3D aesthetics work to seize authorship of an environment by shaping it to reflect the emotions inspired by its real-world space and suspend that space in a liminal state between realistic and artificial.
